Lithuanian Constitution exam day: what to expect
A short summary of NŠA's official instructions for the computer-based exam (April 2026 edition).
Time and arrival
- The exam starts at 14:00 and lasts 45 minutes.
- Arrive 30 minutes early with a valid identity document. From 13:40 to 14:00 IDs are checked and you are seated by the list.
- If you are up to 20 minutes late you can still log in, but you get no extra time.
How the test works
- Login details are handed out on paper and collected once you are logged in.
- The test runs only in fullscreen; the system records leaving fullscreen and copy/paste.
- 20 questions, 3 options each; you pass with at least 14 correct. Questions are in Lithuanian only.
- At 14:30 the proctor warns that 15 minutes are left.
- When you finish, press 'Pateikti' (Submit) and then 'Baigti darbą' (Finish).
- If the screen freezes, press Ctrl+F5 or log in again; time lost to a technical fault is not counted.
What is banned
Phones and other devices, the internet, outside help, photos and screenshots. A violation gets you removed, and you can only give an explanation on the same day. Leave your phone outside the room.
